IF you are trying to figure out how to file bankruptcy and are looking for bankruptcy information I have provided some links for you do your own research rather you are looking to file for a chapter 7 or chapter 13 Bankruptcy. You don't need an attorney to file for bankruptcy. The system is user friendly however filing for a chapter 13 on your own could lead into a web of confusion and stress and it is much easier to hire a profesional bankruptcy attorney in Michigan. The Department of justice http://www.justice.gov/ has a disvison called the U.S. Trustees office. They over see all Bankruptcies filed in the United States. http://www.justice.gov/ust/index.htm.

If you file for a Chapter 13 in Flint Michigan you Trustee Office is http://www.flint13.com/

If you file for Chapter 13 in Detroit you could any one of 3 trustees
